GIANT Communications

Below are instructions to guide you in the set up of your e-mail program for use with Giant Communications' servers. If you have any questions, please call us 785-362-9331 or 1-800-346-9084.

Known issues with the new e-mail settings

With AVG, AVST or other virus / firewall protection software, you may need to open an exception for outgoing port 587 traffic.

If forwarding email to Blackberry, your account settings need to be un-installed then re-installed in the Blackberry email settings.

If after you have followed all the set up instructions and your email still doesn't work please contact our office during regular business hours.

Setting up email for the iPad: Your email server needs to be an IMAP not a POP3. Pop-up with come up asking, "Cannot connect using SSL. Do you want to set up account with out SSL?" Answer "Yes"
